Plasma Pistol – Save your Charge

Not sure if many people know about this, but I think the Plasma Pistol is definitely one of the most effective weapons in Halo, period.

The one beef I’ve always had with it from Halo 1 & 2, was that if you charged it, but didn’t want to fire the full charge, and it if you switched weapons, or let go of the right trigger extremely slowly, it would still fire.

They fixed this in Halo 3…

To save your charge, all you have to do is charge it up to it’s max potential, then if you want to keep the charge (say the guy you were gunning after doesn’t come around the corner), just slowly release the right trigger (or left trigger if your south paw).
