Crack The Code – Win Tickets to London Halo 3 Premiere
The Answer:
It comes from the First TV commercial for Halo 3.
“Ever wonder what’s up there”
Once you type that in, you need to send an email to halo3prem [at] neoncomms.co.uk. A max of 15 words in the email to them for why you think you should be going to the premiere. One thing I noticed was that there happens to be 15 words spoken by the child in the video… “Maybe someone up there is wondering what it’s like here. I hope so, don’t you?”
Good luck!

The video demonstration will consist of gameplay from the recent E3 and Leipzig demos, complete with commentary from the dev team. If you haven’t seen it, the short preview consists of a massive UNSC base and a skirmish with an army of Covenant forces – complete with hulking Scarab walker.
Looks juicy! We’re looking forward to this video! Chances are, it will be on the internetz sometime soon if you can’t get onto the XBL Marketplace.

Halo 3 Campaign Videos from Leipzig Gamecon 2007
Lots of new content from the Leipzig Gamecon 2007 is popping up all around the internets, including footage from in-game, hands on halo 3 campaign and multiplayer.
There are lots of videos to be found now (all shaky cam at this point unfortunately, but we’re hoping for some serious HD footage from Bungie to hopefully appear soon), but definitely some fun stuff to be watching.
In the video above, you can see the new Warthog modified to carry a group of soldiers around, and the use of the Gravity Hammer (possibly the first time anyone has ever seen in in the public). My favorite line?
“Save Ammo… Run’em Over!” – Sarge?
Halo 3 Makes September Wired Magazine Cover Page

The Wired Halo 3 Magazine Article in now available!
This one looks like it’s worth a read ![]()
Also, if you examine the cover closely, you’ll notice some easter eggs thrown around. Here is what we have found:
- The IP to the “Society of the Ancient” Website used in the Halo 3 ARG (IRIS)
- “343? – undoubtedly a reference to 343 Guilty Spark from Halo 1
- 2552 – The year all of these events take place
- The Phone Number to the “Flood Containment Control”, another element from the Halo 3 Alternate Reality Game
- “117? – Spartan-117 is the main character in the Halo series
- Installation 05 is one of the Halo ring worlds
- Mark VI – the armor the Master Chief Uses
See anything we missed?
Halo 3 Epsilon Beta Launches
According to Bungie’s most recent Weekly Update, they have sent out a Beta Test Build of Halo 3 (code named “Epsilon”) to many Halo enthusiasts around the world. The Beta includes features from the Beta played earlier this year, along with several new ones. Such features include:
- Forge, the brand new multiplayer map editor included in Halo 3. Forge allows players to edit existing maps in multiplayer mode by adding crates, explosives, respawn points, weapons, etc. Players will also be able to play against each other in a brand new innovative form of online gameplay.
- The 3 Beta Maps revealed earlier this year, plus “Last Resort” and “Sandtrap“.
- A Single Player Mission called “Tsavo Highway“
It’s very possible that someone on your Friends List on Xbox Live has received a copy of the Epsilon Beta (according to Bungie), so if you are lucky, you may be able to talk them into sharing some details with you!
